Privacy
Short version: this website sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and does not track you. The only personal information I hold is what you choose to put in an email to me.
1. What this website collects
Nothing. There is no analytics script, no advertising pixel, no embedded social widget and no cookie banner — because there are no cookies to ask you about.
Fonts are served from this site rather than from a font provider, so opening the page does not send a request to a third party carrying your IP address.
Server logs
The hosting provider keeps standard security logs (IP address, time, page requested) as part of running the service. I do not use these for analytics or profiling.
2. When you email me
I keep what you send: your name, your email address, and whatever you tell me about your project. I use it to:
- Reply to you and quote the work
- Carry out the project if you go ahead
- Keep a record of what was asked for and agreed
I do not sell it, rent it, or share it with anyone for marketing. I do not add you to a mailing list because I do not run one.
3. If I emailed you first
I sometimes contact businesses directly to introduce this service, using contact details those businesses publish themselves. If you would rather not hear from me again, reply with “unsubscribe” — or simply say so in any words — and I will remove your details and not contact you again. No form, no account, no delay.
4. Who else touches your data
Only what is necessary to run the business, and each of these sees only its own part:
- The hosting provider — serves this website and keeps security logs
- My email provider — carries our correspondence
- The payment provider — handles card and bank payments if you buy something. Payment details go to them, not to me: I never see or store your card or bank numbers
- The domain registrar — holds the registration for your domain, in your name
5. How long I keep it
Enquiries that do not become projects: deleted within about a year. Project correspondence, quotes and invoices: kept while the project runs and afterwards for as long as tax and accounting rules require.
6. Your rights
Ask me and I will tell you what I hold about you, correct it, or delete it. One email is enough — you do not need to quote a regulation or fill in a form. If you are in the UK, EU, or another place with data-protection law, those rights apply to you by law; I apply them to everyone regardless.
7. Children
This is a service sold to businesses. It is not directed at children.
